The key is not to prioritize your schedule but to schedule your priorities.”

~ Stephen R. Covey from “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People”

Slow down and read that again.

The key is not to prioritize your schedule but to schedule your priorities.”

The key is NOT to prioritize what’s already on your schedule.

The key is to identify your priorities (you have them? What’re your top goals this week?) and to create your schedule around THEM.

Yah?

So, what are your top priorities for:

  • Your life?

  • The next decade?

  • The year?

  • The quarter?

  • The month?

  • The week?

  • The day?

  • The hour?

  • The moment?

I ask myself that series of questions as often as possible. (At least once a week usually at the spa before/after a massage for those curious souls.)

Are you asking yourself those questions?

Are the answers in integrity with one another? Do they all line up? Or is some of the stuff you’re doing right now almost totally irrelevant to your higher level life goals? And, if so, what’re you doing to get them in line?

Take a deep breath.

And, pretty please (with a lot of agave on top), DO THIS EXERCISE (right now? :))!!! (Thanks for humoring me. :))
