One is most dishonest to one's god: he is not allowed to sin.”

~ Friedrich Nietzsche, 19th century German philosopher

* Bible-reading preacher’s voice *

And God sayeth to man, “I want you to be PERFECT, God DAMNIT!!!”

Huh?

wtf?

Of course, there are all kinds of definitions of what it means to “sin,” but I refuse to believe in a God that doesn’t smile and root me on as I evolve toward a more and more perfect expression of my highest self.

The authentic self is the best part of a human being.  It's the part of you that already cares, that is already passionate about evolution. When your authentic self miraculously awakens and becomes stronger than your ego, then you will truly begin to make a difference in this world. You will literally enter into a partnership with the creative principle.
