Got this brilliant idea from Steve Pavlina. (You check him out yet? There’s a reason his site is the most popular self-dev site in the world. It’s b/c he rocks. Check it: www.stevepavlina.com)

Here’s the question he asks:

How much are you overweight?

Go to a sporting goods store and find a dumbbell (or two) that weighs as much as the extra fat you’re carrying around. Pick up the weight. Walk around the store a couple times. How’s that feel? Realize the fact that you’re carrying around that extra weight EVERY DAY.

What do you think that’s doing to your body?

To your heart? Your digestive system? Your knees? Your back?

Commit to dropping the pounds and feel the power of living at your optimal weight.

Your knees and back and heart and digestive system will thank you. And so will all of those who love you and rely on you b/c you’ll be a heck of a lot more vital/present/confident/all the things you want to be for them.
