"Henry Fonda was still throwing up before each stage performance, even when he was seventy-five. In other words, fear doesn't go away. The warrior and the artist live by the same code of necessity, which dictates that the battle must be fought anew every day."
~ Steven Pressfield, 21st century writer from The War of Art
I’m going to bang on this drum again…and again…and again…
Let’s quit thinking the fear’s going to go away and/or that people we admire don’t feel the fear (and do it anyway).
Reminds me of Georgia O’Keefe’s comment: “I've been afraid every single day of my life, but I've gone ahead and done it anyway."
Be afraid. Then do it anyway.
